Questions and Answers:
How long does it take to test my hearing?
A test and consultation can take 45 to 60 minutes. A demonstration may take longer.
How much does a hearing test cost?
We don’t charge for a hearing test.
How long does it take to get hearing aids?
In stock products can be fit immediately. If not in stock standard (non custom) instruments can be fit within a couple days and custom products take about a week.
Does my insurance or Medicare pay for hearing aids?
Every insurance plan is different. We’ll check your plan for benefits and work within its guidelines. Medicare does not cover hearing aids.
Can I return the hearing aids?
Yes, you can return them or exchange them for a different type within 30 days of your delivery date. In Florida the state requires you receive a minimum 30 day trial period from the day of delivery. On the day of your fitting the hearing aids are paid in full. Anytime during the next 30 days you can return the instruments without reason. The state allows providers to charge fees for returned hearing aids. I do not charge return fees.
Can hearing aids be adjusted?
Yes. Almost all of the products we fit are digital and programmable.
